About South Side Pizza
Every day is special
Located at 704 W Emaus Ave #7, Allentown, PA 18103, South Side Pizza operates as a pizza restaurant serving Allentown in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 10:30 AMβ10 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (610) 791-9111. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is southsidepizza704.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
With 4.1 out of 5 on Google from 186 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for pizza restaurants in Allentown. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Allentown is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Allentown is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Disrespectful Owner. Asked him for paper plates and I would have been better off mentioning his Mother. He told us he didnβt get a delivery then said plates are too expensive and that they donβt provide plates. He also said to go elsewhere. I didnβt now that asking for paper plate will escalate to a pizza owner losing his composure. Unreal but truth. Never again will I step my foot in that pizza shop. Not recommended and if you do go donβt ask for paper plates.

Very friendly, fast service but the real bonus is the food! We LOVE their Calzones! The large is huge! My husband and I can only eat 1/2 at a sitting. It is loaded with mozzarella and ricotta cheeses and we got ham in ours. Absolutely delicious! If you've never tried one I highly recommend one!

I thought the 1st time I was sharing a pie with a co-worker that it was a fluke that this was a GREAT tasting pie. Well, we came back a week later, and it was just good. The owner makes his sauce from scratch. Delicious!
